The One Show coming to Pie Competition along with Brian Turner(Celebrity Chef)

Teacher Unions  announced they will strike.

American fighter plane hits block of flats.

Worst snow of winter in April after a week of record breaking heat wave at end of March!

Princess Anne came to Barkisland to visit ice cream maker.

Sport

Cambridge win boat race after swimmer stops the race. After restart they collided and Oxford lost a blade and then the race.

Celtic win Scottish league.

Chelsea reach semi final of European Cup.

GB win loads of gold medals in Australia in cycling.

Pies

Mark   Looks like  it came from a furniture factory it was so well polished. Crispy pastry. Nice jelly, lots of afterburn. Decent meat but smelt funny.

Peter   Big, meaty,tasty, crispy pastry. Could not get more meat in this pie,a real meal. A real tasty cracker of a pie.

No pie meeting this week, preparing for the Pie Competition which is being held next week.

Annual competition was great success. One Show recorded it and Hinchliffes of Netherton won again.

Riots on Bahrain. GP is going ahead tomorrow though.

Olympics now 100 days to go. 

Andy Murray knocked out of another tennis tournament.
