Pies

Mark   Nice looking pie and I was looking forward to the crispy nutty pastry of a Grange pie but I bit into a wet dishcloth. Jelly had run into the pastry but the meat was lovely and tasty lots of spice and afterburn but I suspect poor husbandry and  struggle to give.

Tim   Granges pie good looking pie a little small, felt soggy to the touch which was disappointing, meat coarse good but no afterburn needed more spice.

Howard   Well glazed good looking pie but pastry soft to the touch, biting into the pie the jelly was still runny and had obviously soaked into the pastry in part. Good coarse flavoursome meat needed more pepper, ood pie spoilt by the pastry. Due to the fact that the purveyours were keeping them warm under the lamp, fetcher brought them home and cooled them asap but it was too late.  The one Howard had on picking up was brilliant.
