England football team beat Slovenia.

Halifax nearly beat Bradford, leading 1-0 after 3 mins losing narrowly 2-1. 

Andy Murray Scottish Tennis Player had the worst loss since he was 16 against Federer. 6- love and 6- 1.

Pies

Richard   Soggy pastry, not fresh, bland meat OK pie.

Score   6.0/10

Howard   Good sized pie. Soggy pastry, not fresh, cathedral roof to it (empty). Nice coarse meat. Plenty of flavour, well spiced and flavoursome jelly.

Mark   Soft pastry, nice meat and plenty of spice. Only a little jelly. Pastry ruined it for me.

Peter   Big soft pie.  Looked OK and tasted just about OK.  Not so impressed,rather bland. Nicely presented though.

Kevin   Not fresh, pastry was soft, lots of tasty jelly,spicy, big soft, man’s pie. Lots of afterburn. Liked it.

Pies

Tim   Good looking, nicely glazed. Huge rat run in it with jelly not very tasty. Coarse meat that was bland.

Richard   Nice pie, very fresh, well  seasoned. Pastry was a little thick.

Peter   Big, fresh short pastry. Succulent coarse meat. Could have used more spice.

Mark   Nice looking pie, fresh, lots of jelly, meat needed more seasoning. A stringy lump of grisel spoilt.

Score   8.0/10

Howard   Good looking pie, nicely glazed. Well filled. Tasty jelly. Flavoursome meat but lacked spice.  Sticky top and short pastry.
