Kevin   Big, soft, yesterday’s pie, lots of jelly. Bland meat but surprisingly good.

Peter   Big soft looking pie.  Tasted better than it looks. Well filled, enjoyed it.

Tim   Fresh pie. Pastry too lardy and soft. Meat a bit like sausage meat.

Bruce   Monster size pie. Nice curved bottom. Looks nice but soft pastry lots of tasty jelly. Meat OK but needed more spice. Enjoyed it.

Mark   Big heavy pie. Soft pastry sausage meat, needed more pepper. Fresh as a daisy.

???      Excellent looker. Lovely crispy, nutty pastry. Packed with meat. Tasty meat, lots of afterburn.

Tim   Good looker,well filled. Perfect presentation. Bags of pepper. Meat was overly minced. Too packed. Not that porky.

Richard   Very fresh thin pastry lovely meat. Best pie since last year’s championship.

Peter   One big fresh pie.  Lots of spice. An absolute belter of a pie and hard to get better.

Air crash in French Alps, 150 dead. Co-pilot locked pilot out of cabin and dived the plane into the ground. Seems he had depression. Investigations are ongoing.

Jeremy Clarkson sacked for hitting an assistant producer. BBC and therefore us will now lose millions.  

Cameron and Milliband  interviewed by Paxman on TV. Cameron came out better perhaps.

Sport

Biggest rugby club crowd ever at Wembley. Saracens v Harlequins  840,000.

Halifax finally win away after 6 consecutive draws.

Mark   Pretty polished perfect pork pie. Nice flavour well peppered enjoyed it.

Peter   Neat compact pie. Shiny,fresh  pastry, well filled with porky meat.

Kevin   Neat pretty pie. Very fresh, lardy pastry, meat had lard in it too. No afterburn but well filed. Nice jelly.

Tim   Pastry thin and crispy little lardy. No afterburn. Good pie though.

Howard   Well presented pie. Good fresh pastry, nice and crispy well filled. Meat was tasty but salt, needed some pepper.Little jelly.Good pie.
