Peter   Nice pastry, thin and quite crispy. Big gaps between pastry and meat. Tasty meat.

Score   7.5/10

Mark   Soft pasty. Huge void at top of pie. Nice tasty jelly. Coarsely ground meat. Lots of pepper and after burn. Too salty.

Phil   Soft chewy pastry, Meat nice and nice jelly. Lots of after burn.

John   Pastry lovely, lots of jelly. Meat peppery. Lots of salt. Enjoyed it.

Kevin   Fresh pie, no jelly, peppery, salty, course meat.

Phil   Nice looking pie./ Lots of jelly. Needed more salt and pepper.

Score   8.5/10

John   Compact pie, uniform in appearance. Golden tan to pastry but lacked salt. Not a lot of flavour. Lacked pepper.

Mark   Pale, uneven and ugly. Crunchy pastry, tasty jelly and meat. Bags of pepper and afterburn.

Score   9.0/10

Kev   Needed more time in the oven. Crunchy pastry, fresh, well filled. Lovely pie.

Richard   Pale, not much flavour or spice. Too much pastry. Fresh but like eating dog biscuits.

Bruce   Compact pie. Fresh, Pastry too short. Nice tasty jelly. Well filled tasty meat. Liked its rugged ugliness.

Peter   Very short pastry, needed more spice, especially pepper.

Mark   Uneven ugly looking pie, very fresh and considering the weather husbandry excellent, loads of pepper and afterburn.Well filled pie. Enjoyed it.

Oliver   Plenty of pepper. Enjoyed the meat, pastry a bit greasy, nice amount of jelly.

Danny (guest)   Too much pepper, not enough jelly and uneven.

Kevin   Fresh, well packed, no jelly, but moist meat. Spicy, Well kept on a hot day.
