Phil is going to retire from the pie club but has not decided when.

Peter   Soggy pastry, not much taste in the meat.

Richard   Meat tasteless, no smell, no spice, pastry was fatty. Looked OK.

Phil   Looked good, really nice pastry and jelly, meat awful with no taste.

Score   5.0/10

John   Squat pie, sad pastry, being moist was the only thing going for it.

Score   4.0/10

Kevin   Good looking rustic pie. Thin pastry, soft  Bland tasteless meat, Jelly hadn't any taste either.

Phil   Lovely pastry if a bit burnt.Meat had flavour, not a great pie.

John   Looked oldie worldly, pastry was soft and thick but tasted nice. Meat succulent, course.

Score   8.0/10

Kevin   Burnt, tasty pastry, not a lot of meat. Lovely pie. Really enjoyed it.

Score   8.0/10

Bruce   Burnt, looked hand made. Tasty pastry, tasty jelly, meat succulent and spicy. The whole lot blended together to make a great pie .Ultra fresh.

Score   9.0/10

Mark   Fresh, jelly soaked into pastry, meat was soft but nice flavour.

Score   7.5/10

Peter   Crisp burnt and fresh pastry, Small, not much meat but succulent.

Score   7.0/10

Tim   Pale, jelly on top, bakers custard pie pastry. Not at lot of flavour.

Score   4.0/10

Kevin   Looked pale, unattractive, swimming with jelly. Surprisingly crisp, crunchy, fresh, thin pastry, aferburn. Very pleasant pie.

Score   8.0/10

Peter   Did not look good, jelly on top not a good idea.Pastry was crisp. Liked the pastry, meat was pleasant without be too flavoursome. OK  pie if a little shallow.

Score   7.0/10

Mark   Pale, soft and crispy pastry. Abundance of jelly. Not a bad flavour.

Score   6.5/10

Pies

Graham   Not bad appearance, pastry was soggy. Well filled but short of seasoning.

Tim   A day or two old. Well filled.

Peter   A Hovis of a pie. Pastry was brown, soft and dry. Tasty,quite spicy with just enough jelly. I woud have liked crispy pastry but really enjoyed it.

Joe   Hardly any jelly, lot of meat, soggy pastry. Very dry.

Kevin   Would have been good 3 days ago. Very soft pastry. Lots of sweet tasty brown jelly. Full little bit of spice.
