Pies

Phil   Soft pastry, very dry. Not impressed.

Score   6.5/10

Peter   Soggy pastry, big tall pie. Lots of meat. Not too much taste.

Score   6.0/10

Howard   Sad looking pie. Pastry soggy with liitle taste. Much of pie was empty. Struggled with it.

Score   4.0/10

Mark   Pastry was soft. Not a bad pie. Meat was coarse enjoyed the taste.

Score   7.5/10

John   Large pie, soft pastry. Well filled pink meat. Tasty.

Score   7.0/10

Kevin   Yesterday's pie. Tall shiny top. Coarse meat. Slight afterburn, no jelly, enjoyed it.

Pies

Mark   Dull finish, fresh crispy pasty, lots of sloppy jelly ran down my sleeve. Strange aroma. Meat colagulated into slimy balls. Very neutral flavour.

Bruce   Big castllations, fresh crispy short pastry. Tasty jelly, course spicy meat. Enjoyed it.

Score   8.0/10

Peter   Big pie, fresh crusty pastry. well filled with tasty succulent meat. A cracker of a pie.

Mark   Nice appearance, smooth well glazed, very fresh. Good course meat. Loads of pepper but too much salt.

Guest Anne and friends   Well glazed. Nice jelly hole. Could have been more aventureous. Needs herbs perhaps.

Kevin   Lovely looking pie. Crisp crunchy nutty pastry. Course succulent meat. Lots of jelly. Very fresh. Great pie.

Peter   Looked great, tasted fresh, super crisp pastry, spicy succulent meat. Well seasoned.

Bruce   Fresh crispy crunchy pastry. Tasty jelly. Granular spicy meat. Full of flavour, belter of a pie.
