WASPs beat Saracen’s in Rugby union finishing top of the league.

England beat Ireland in one-day cricket international.


Peter Good looking shiny pie perhaps a bit small.Crispy pastry, well filled with tasty moist meat. An excellent pie.

Mark Soft pastry, shallow structure but crispy crusty top. Nice tasty meat, a little jelly.

Howard Soft lower pastry and crispy top.Tasty course meat lacking spice nice amount of jelly.

Tim Small pie, soggy baker’s pastry. Lightly seasoned meat.

Score 6.0/10

Kevin Small, fresh, moist meat small amount of jelly. Slightly seasoned. Mass produced good pie.

President Trump has done a tour of the middle east but trouble brewing at home for him on his connection with Russia.

Teressa May does U turn on social care provision and now has put the plan of a cap on social care costs after announcing in the manifesto that there would not be a cap.

The 25 and final Pork Pie contest was a great success.


Huddersfield Town beat Sheffield Wednesday on penalties for a place in the Championship playoff. Best wishes to Huddersfield.

Cup final Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1.

Tim Soggy pastry no jelly, pastry not savory enough. Well seasoned meat. Fresh though.
